Cooling Jacket includes:
1) Cooling Jacket
2) Quick Disconnects
A patented design specifically made for home brewing and wine making. Designed to allow accurate and reliable fermentation temperature control. The flexible Cooling Jacket has over 320 square inches of cooling surface to make sure your fermenter stays nice and cool, and it totally encloses the cooling fluids so a heating element can also be used. (Dimensions: 43.5” L x 13” H)
The jacket fits many common carboys and buckets (5, 6, and 6.5-gallon glass and plastic carboys, and 6 gal fermentation buckets), as well as conicals, variable volume tanks and other styles of fermenters. If your fermenter is larger in diameter than a 6.5-gallon carboy (about 12.5-inches), add an Expansion Link to your Cooling Jacket.
The Cooling Jacket is compatible with water and glycol. Please note, the cooling jacket was designed to operate at 8 PSI or less. Pressures in excess of 8 PSI may damage the Cooling Jacket. In our tests, the March 809-PL-HS and 815-PL pumps worked well, as did the 370 GPH and the 500 GPH submersible pumps we use in our Advanced and Premium Kits. NOT for use with Diaphragm pumps which can generate pressures over 8PSI (typically around 25 to 45 PSI) and will damage the Cooling Jacket.
Quick disconnects are included with the Cooling Jacket (1/4" male and female, and 1/2" male and female) for connecting to 1/2" tubing.
If you would like additional quick disconnects for your system, please see the links to Quick Disconnects.
Note: Carboy is not included.

If you are like me you researched fermenter temp control soon after you got serious about brewing. From 1 batch in a bucket and cooler to 5 batches in SS brew buckets in a keezer, to 10 gallon batches I have to say that brewing never felt so "pro" until I got the cool-zone setup. My hoppy pils is sitting steady at 55 degrees for 5 days so far. I have only had to switch out my frozen water bottles once and I have peace of mind that my brew is the right temp instead of guessing the ambient temp and hoping the wort matched. I could not be happier. I just ordered 4 more Sanke kegs and will purchase 4 more jackets with the extender as soon as my paycheck allows. Game changer!

I have been home brewing for over 20-years without any temp control. Have to wait until the weather was just right and crank out a couple 5-gallon batches. Now I can brew anytime I want and it's all so compact. I integrated the Jacket into my insulated 6-gallon glass carboy, so that doesn't take up any space. I store the pump and controller in the 28-quart cooler, which just happens to be the perfect size for a 20lbs bag of ice. Right now one batch ferments for a week and it's roughly (2) 20lbs bags of ice per batch. I highly endorse this system for anyone that doesn't have room for a dedicated fridge for fermenting!!!

Perfect! Exactly what I was hoping for. It's very cool to see it fill with the cooling water and do it's thing!

I rarely write reviews on anything, and especially not without first putting a product through it's paces. I am currently fermenting my second brew with this item and could not be happier with it!. The first was a 10 gallon Oktoberfest in a 60 liter Speidel fermenter. With the addition of the cooling jacket expansion link (which is also a 1st. class product) it fit and functioned perfectly. Currently fermenting a 5 gallon Hefeweizen in a 6.5 gal glass carboy. Both fermentations have been in my garage, which has wide temperature swings. The Coolzone jacket has worked perfectly with both the large lager and crazy active Hefe fermentations. Remember to insulate the jacket (wish Gotta Brew had an insulation jacket for the Speidel, hint, hint..) as ambient temps can really impact efficiency of any cooling system.

I've been using it the past 3 days and it's doing a great job of maintaining my fermentation temp (in conjunction with a heat wrap.) I am using it in a room without much of a difference between the ambient temp (67F) and the set temp (65) so I do look forward to trying it at a cooler temp and for trying to cold crash.

I am using the cooling bottle jacket in a custom laboratory application. I received prompt service and was even offered a custom piece for the bottle jacket so that it would better serve my purposes. A+ service and btw it is working well in its new application. I highly recommend this product. Even with the custom piece the price was an absolute steal.

I have been using the jacket to cool a wine carboy. This along with the controller and a submersible pump have exceeded my expectations. Very simple to set up, and an excellent value

I am using these along with the expansion panels for my 15g sanke fermentors and they work like a dream! I love how you can remove them easily to clean the fermentor as I need to be able to turn them upside down. An added bonus is I can still use them for carboys when I do a smaller batch. They seam very durable and should last me a very long time. I own 4 of these and have been using them for about 6 months now with great results!

I bought this for my 12.5 gallon conical fermenter (stainless steel), also purchased the submersible pump (370 GPH), and some extra tubing and hooked up the pump and tubes into a cooler. It keeps my fermenter ice cold. I'll be able to temp control ales easily now and after some more insulating I should be able to cold crash and lager easily also. I tried a number of cooling experiments for my stainless steel conicals and this one is the clear winner, works like a charm, and reasonably priced as well. I've already purchased a second one. I love it.
